Variation on a Poem by Frank Pulver

Why are there some things that can’t be explained?
It feels like they have thrown me into a life full of pain
My life feels like it is over and I have died
The world is cruel and harsh
It doesn’t care whether I am dead or alive.
I suffer and struggle with no one by my side
Fear still sneaks up on me from the past
I wish that I can break up those fears
and live a quiet peaceful life
with my beloved walking together until
it is time to say goodbye.
